OECD Internship Programme 2021


The Internship Vacancy is open on a rolling basis, so students can submit their application at any time throughout the year. We hope this gives you more flexibility to complete your internal pre-selection process, without having to respect a specific deadline. The Internship Programme is designed to bring qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the OECD to work on specific projects related to the field of their studies.


Internship during times of Covid-19

To limit the risk associated with traveling and to allow students from different parts of the world to benefit from this unique learning experience, the OECD has decided that internships will be carried out remotely. Accordingly, in the context of the current situation regarding Covid-19, teleworking arrangements will apply to all interns until further notice.

The steps of the process:
  • In the pre-selection carried out by the university. The students chosen in this way will have priority, but it is not guaranteed that pre-selected students will be offered and Intership Programme. In the pre-selection (maximum about 15 candidates) will take place in the months of October (students who want to start at the beginning of 2021).
  • In the website of the OECD Internship Generic vacancy.The pre-selection will be continue during all the year. More information: 


Important note:

 The pre-selected students will be considered only through this preferential recruitment channel. However, students who have not been pre-selected are encouraged to apply online to the Generic vacancy 

Minimum requirements:

  • Selected candidates must be enrolled to a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD (see the List of departments and special bodies for further details). Only for students enrolled, not for graduates.
  • Selected candidates should be proficient in English and/or French.
  • Selected candidates should be available for a minimum period of one month on a full-time basis (40h per week). The maximum duration of an internship is twelve months.


Preselection criteria by uc3m will be in this order: average mark, languages and degree. 

The final list of students pre-selected by the University will be published on this website.
