Carlos Santiago-Caballero is Associate Professor at the Social Sciences Department ot Carlos III University of Madrid. He conducted his doctoral studies at London School of Economics under the supervision of Larry Epstein, Janet Hunter and Tim Leunig. He has published his work in scientific journals such as Explorations in Economic History or European Review of Economic History and publishers such as Routledge. His main lines of research are based on the study of inequality in the long term, agricultural economics, economic integration and climate changes in the past, most recently including fields such as measuring living standards or changes in the evolution of information costs.
