Maria Eugenia Rabanal was born in Madrid, Spain. I received my BSc and Master degrees at the University Complutense in Madrid, Spain in the field of Physical Chemistry. In 2002 I received my Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University Carlos III, Madrid, Spain, working on soft magnetic materials and high energy mechanical milling process. My current research activities are focused on structural, morphological and functional characterization of advanced materials using a variety of experimental techniques. I have more than 46 publications in scientific journals (35 in the JCR), have supervised 2 PhD and 3 Diploma Thesis. I am a reviewer for several peer reviewed journals in the area of material science. Also, I have participated in more than 65 International Conferences having more than 10 invited communications. I have been involved in more than 30 competitive projects (in regional, national and international frameworks) which I have been 1 time, the main research. At present, I collaborate with researchers in foreign research centers and have participated in a European Project “COST-“Electroceramics from Nanopowders produced by Innovative methods”.
