OECD Internship Programme 2020 (June to December)

The OECD Internship Programme has been designed to bring highly qualified and motivated students with diverse backgrounds into the Organisation to work on projects linked to the Strategic Orientations of the Secretary-General. Its main goal is to give to successful candidates an opportunity to improve their analytical and technical skills as well as the experience to work in a truly international environment.
Retained candidates will carry out research and provide statistical and technical support for analytical work, under the direction of an OECD official.
The steps of the process:
Compared to previous rounds, this year there will be two options available for registration:
  • In the pre-selection carried out by the university. The students chosen in this way will have priority, but it is not guaranteed that pre-selected students will be offered and Intership Programme. In the pre-selection (maximum about ten candidates) will take place in the months of October (students who want to start at the beginning of 2020) and March (for interships over the summer period).
  • In the website of the OECD Internship Generic vacancy.The pre-selection will be continue during all the year. More information: 

Our recommendation is that you enroll in both procedures to have more possibilities.

Minimum requirements:

  • Selected candidates must be enrolled to a full-time degree programme for the duration of the internship in a field or discipline related to the work of the OECD (see the List of departments and special bodies for further details). Only for students enrolled, not for graduates.
  • Selected candidates should be proficient in English and/or French.
  • Selected candidates should be available for a minimum period of one month on a full-time basis (40h per week). The maximum duration of an internship is twelve months.


Preselection criteria by uc3m will be in this order: average mark, languages and degree. 

The provisional list of pre-selected students will be published on this website within a maximum period of one week.

Students will have a period of 7 calendar days from the publication of the provisional list to correct errors by sending an email to:

The final list of students pre-selected by the University will be published, once the correction period has ended, on this website.
