Ph.D. in Humanities is the third and final round of graduate studies.
Is the natural continuation of the Master of Arts from the University Carlos III of Madrid, and supposed to have done this master, or a graduate student in the area equivalent of the human sciences, literature, arts or communication.
It aims to train high-level researchers to undertake a career after teaching and research in scientific and academic world, or start a career in the world of arts and culture, recognized by the baggage of having done a research work high-level, original and proper.
The doctor will choose a research topic and a thesis director and doctor, whose orientation will prepare a thesis under the investigative work of the University Carlos III. The development and defense of the thesis lead to the doctoral degree from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
