Miguel Artola Blanco is a Juan de la Cierva post-doctoral researcher at Carlos III University of Madrid. He is PhD of Contemporary History from Autonomous University of Madrid. is doctoral thesis, which deals with the history of the upper classes in Spain during the first half of the twentieth century, has been published under the title "El Fin de la clase ociosa. De Romanones al estraperlo. 1900-1950". He has published articles in refreed journals like Historia Agraria, Historia y Política, Revista de Demografía Histórica and Biblio 3W. Nowadays he is researching in the following topics: historic evolution of economic weatlh in Spain and guidelines for remuneration of executives in companies from continental Europe.
