Amarís Duarte, Hortensia

Abbreviated CV

Hortensia Amarís obtained her Master in Industrial Engineering in 1990, and her PhD in Industrial Engineering in 1995, from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Currently she is full professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering in the University Carlos III of Madrid. Her current research focuses on smart grids, integration of renewable energies in the power system, and management of power grids with distributed generation. Her works have been published in reference journals and international conferences.
