Course 2019/20

The I Ibero-american Congress about Civil Liability is an initiative of the Master in Civil Liability of the UC3M in collaboration with the Ibero-american Tort Law Working Group and the Brazilian Institute of Civil Liability Studies.
This Congress has the aim of offering a current view of the problems relating to civil liability from the perspective of the different Ibero-american legal systems.  The purpose is to be a forum of debate between jurists with the final intention of creating an expert group that may face the elaboration of general lines or principles of Tort Law for Ibero-american countries that have common legal roots.

Course 2018/19

IV Spanish-German Congress on Private Law. The influence of the ECJ in the Legal System of the Member States. November 22-23, 2018


These Spanish-German Congresses are the result of a close collaboration between Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, the Universidad of Münster and its Centre for European Private Law.
As in previous occasions, this Congress has gathered together scholars from Germany and Spain with the aim of studying topical issues from the perspective of both Legal Systems. This edition dealt with the influence of the ECJ in the Legal System of the Member States and its impact in the Law and court decisions in both countries.
 

Course 2017/18

III Iberoamerican Congress on Real Estate Law

The III Congress on Real Estate Law shall be held at Centro Universitario Salesiano de San Paulo (UNISAL), Brazil, on May 23, 24 and 25, 2018, in collaboration with UC3M and Universidad Central de Chile. The subject of this edition is "Contemporary Real Estate Law and the effectiveness of human rights: thoughts on real estate fraud, regularization of property and susteinability"”.

III Spanish-German Congress on Private Law. Contracts with digital content. October 19 and 20 2017


These Spanish-German Congresses are the result of a close collaboration between Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, the Universidad of Münster and its Centre for European Private Law.
This III edition is an international event that brings together scholars from Germany and Spain with the aim of studying the “Contracts with digital contents”; a very topical subject and with great practical significance. Among other matters, the issues covered related to the legal nature of the contracts, obligations of the parties, remedies, succession of rights, and their close relation with data protection and intellectual property.
 

Second Iberoamerican Congress in Real Estate

On November 2017 the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid shall hold the Second Iberoamerican Congress in Real Estate. The subject will be "Transfer of ownership and Registry principles (an international and comparative view)".

The Congress shall be divided in three panels: (i) Transfer of ownership; (ii) Ownership and Registry; and (iii) General principles. These subjects shall be analysed by speakers of different nationalities.

For each panel we shall make an open call for papers or communications. Those admitted by the Scientific Committee shall be explained after the lectures.
